Universal Health Care
Two weeks ago Alex and me watched Sicko, and I liked it.
Well, Moore is a cheater most of the time (he forgets to tell us that are taxes what make possible the universal health care miracle in France, UK, etc), but I like the message anyway.
Why I like it? Because I was thinking throughout the movie: yeah, lucky me I’m Spanish (and I live in Spain). Of course our national healthcare service (Seguridad Social
) isn’t perfect, and -like an old woman says in Sicko about Canadians- I’m Spanish and I like to complain, but the good part of the system it’s worth all the things that can get better.
Obama is trying hard to reform USA’s health care, and I want to send USA people my best wishes about that. May be some day they’ll be as lucky as anyone living in Spain.
