Open Source at Google: Releasing Neatx, an Open Source NX Server

Great news!

If you don’t know NX, just think in VNC (or RDP) but fast, secure and network efficient.

I’ve worked with NX and it’s really awesome, but I must admit that playing with FreeNX it’s PITA, and the official NX server from NoMachine isn’t 100% free software.

The blog says there are some glitches to fix, but I hope this changes the situation for remote GUI the same way OpenSSH did it for remote CLI.
