Logitech claims to be Linux friendly, and maintains this website with unofficial support for their cams. I would say they’re not Linux hostile, that it’s somewhat different.
My own experience with webcams in Linux has been very disappointing and frustrating, because you can’t be 100% sure that the product you’re buying works on Linux reasonably.
Dear Logitech, do you want to be Linux friendly? Start with official support and please put the Linux word in the box. Thank you.
