I really love how sounds the neck pickup of my Telecaster!
As you may know, I recorded this song some time ago (although hard rock-ish, and using my Washburn WI-65PRO guitar). In case you can’t read Spanish, there’s a direct link to my fly me to the moon cover.
After more than a year without guitar (the Ukelele is not the same, really), finally I got a Telecaster; and I love it!
You may think that this is a folk/rock/blues guitar, and actually it is. But I wouldn’t say it’s limited to those genres. Today you can make any guitar sound in any way you want.
This is a quick test with a brit-style amplifier, 25% drive, a plate reverb, and a chorus/flanger. Not bad for the stock single coil pickup. Welcome home!
